zdm.iteration.CalculateConstant(grid, survey)[source]

Calculates the best-fitting constant for the total number of FRBs. Units are:

grid volume units of ‘per Mpc^3’,

survey TOBS of ‘days’,

beam units of ‘steradians’

flux for FRBs with E > Emin

Hence the constant is ‘Rate (FRB > Emin) Mpc^-3 day^-1 sr^-1’ This should be scaled to be above some sensible value of Emin or otherwise made relevant.
